Key Details of the Token Swap
The token swap will involve converting all MATIC tokens held by our users into the new Polygon (POL) tokens at a 1:1 ratio. Here’s everything you need to know:
Conversion Support: Giottus will automatically convert all MATIC tokens held by users to POL at the rate of 1 MATIC = 1 POL post September 13 (Friday). This conversion will apply to all MATIC holdings above the value of ₹1 in user accounts.
Suspension of Trading Activities: To ensure a smooth transition, we will suspend all deposits and withdrawals related to MATIC starting September 6 (Friday) at 5 PM IST. As a part of this, trading of MATIC/USDT pair will also be suspended. MATIC/INR will continue to be available for trade in spot markets till September 13 (Friday).
Impact on SIP and Staking Orders: All SIP and staking orders related to MATIC have been halted. All MATIC stalking users will receive their accrued benefits, which will be processed and credited to their accounts before the swap completion.
Resumption of POL Trading: The new POL token will commence trading after the conversion on September 13 (Friday). A detailed announcement regarding the trading start time will be shared closer to the date.

As a Giottus user, there’s no need for any manual intervention on your part. All MATIC holdings in your account will be automatically converted to POL tokens during the swap.
